It is a modern representation of the ancient art of mental arithmetic that is taught in our facilities. This extracurricular subject seeks to promote mathematical learning at an early age. It is an international method of calculation with Japanese abacus.
Our school has been a pioneer in the program, organizing the first Championship of Spain held in León on the subject in 2018. The tests with which the competitors are evaluated consist of performing up to one hundred mathematical operations in a record time of 8 minutes.
