Instilling in our students the love and passion for reading develops their creativity and reinforces their values, and is undoubtedly a deep learning of emotions.
We encourage reading from the earliest ages by carrying out this activity in which a Primary student “leads” a child. One hour a week, “sponsor” and “sponsored” meet and the first one reads a story to the second one to develop together a series of activities about the reading of that day. This activity not only fosters the reading habits of our young students, but also multiplies their socio-affective and cooperative skills in the classroom.
The emotions that arise from sharing together the reading of an exciting book creates between them affective bonds that do not leave indifferent to any of the protagonists, forging an emotional bond forever between them, in addition to improving inclusion and coexistence in school.
