Every school year we work on several cross-cutting themes in our Infant and Primary classrooms. With this we get our students to be immersed in another scenario thanks to the decorations that set the classrooms and hallway: ancient Egypt, the bottom of the sea, a medieval castle, a museum, a cinema…
The development of these themes is done through research work that allows children to be involved in their own learning, building it in an active way.
This way of working in the classroom helps them to “learn to learn”, encourages them to participate and, most importantly, to achieve meaningful learning. In addition, all areas are integrated in the learning process, achieving a multidisciplinary and very attractive work for the student.
